Our fun-packed family pool features a 100 ft. spiral water slide, rope bridge, lazy river, splash zone, and zero entry pool for the young and young at heart. The family pool, which is maintained at 86 degrees, is used for open swim, private parties, private and group lessons, and water exercise classes.
Our 340,000-gallon competition pool is maintained to temperatures between 78-80 degrees. It features a diving well and 8 lanes for use with lap swimming, competitive swimming, water aerobics classes, private and group swim lessons, and diving lessons.

The FAC offers Women’s, Men’s and Family locker rooms equipped with a Suitmate swimsuit dryer and full-length lockers that are available to all.
Member towel service has been suspended. Members must bring their own shower and workout towel each visit.
For those who want to learn how to swim or just improve on their stroke, the FAC has certified swim instructors who are available for individual private lessons.

With all the water activities West Michigan has to offer, it’s never too soon to learn how to swim. The FAC provides the Red Cross Learn to Swim program year-round with group swim lessons for ages 6 months and up. Youth swim classes are available for members and non-members.
All of our swim classes have the following related fees: Member: $50 per student Non-Members: $70 per student
This class will familiarize children between the ages of 6 months to 3 years old with the water and teach swimming readiness skills as well as provide safety information and techniques parents can use to orient their child to the water.
This class will orient participants to the aquatic environment and help them gain basic aquatic skills. Kids will learn safe practices around water. This class is recommended for kids ages 3-5 or who have never taken swim lessons before.
This class will build on the basic aquatic skills and concepts taught in Pre-School Level 1. This class is recommended for those who have successfully completed Pre-School Level 1 or has experience with swim lessons.
Level 3 will build on skills achieved in Pre-School Levels 1 & 2, and will help participants achieve basic water competency in a pool environment as well introducing basic swimming strokes. This class is recommended for those who have successfully completed Pre-School Level 2.
Level 4 will help achieve proficiency in performing the swimming strokes introduced in Level 3. This class is recommended for those who have successfully completed Level 3.
Participants in Level 5 will refine their performance of swimming strokes, such as front crawl, back crawl, introduction to butterfly, breaststroke, elementary backstroke and sidestroke. This class is recommended for those who have successfully completed Level 4.
Youth will focus on further refinement of strokes so that participants learn to swim with greater efficiency and effectiveness over longer distances. Participants must be deep end tested prior to the start of class.
Morning RegistrationThe purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. Course RegistrationMake a big splash for your next party by having it at the FAC. We offer family pool rental opportunities for open swim pool parties and private pool parties. Our multi-purpose room is also available for event rental for youth groups, sports teams and for company wellness events. *Pool parties are currently suspended as the family pool can not be open for recreational purposes under the current restrictions.
Enjoy the pool with friends and family during normal pool operating hours. Guest fees apply for each guest who is not a current member. Our poolside gathering room* is available for a 2-hour rental (reservation required). Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance with the $100 room rental fee required to reserve your date and time. Guest Fee: $10 per person without room rental/$5 per person with room rental 2-hour Room Rental*: $100
Book a private party and enjoy 90 minutes exclusive use of the family pool for up to 25 guests. This package includes 2-hour exclusive use of the poolside gathering room* and family pool with lifeguards. Reservations are required for private parties two weeks in advance with a 50% deposit required to reserve your date and time.
